24 Teams. 24 Hours. 0 Quit.
The Carolinas Premier Event has historically offered twice the standard number of matches per team, but in this format will offer 24 teams the opportunity to play for 24 hours. Teams will also be judged for and receive awards in custom categories to celebrate their hard work on and off the field. Furthermore, CPE will play special exhibition matches around the clock to introduce a twist to the event.
The 2026 Carolinas Premier Event is the world’s first 24-hour FIRST Tech Challenge endurance competition. Built to celebrate innovation, resilience, and community, this event challenges teams to go beyond the traditional tournament format.
Retaining some of the heritage from North Carolina's traditional LOKI offseason event, the Carolinas Premier Event provides opportunities for all FIRST Tech Challenge teams to experiment boldly, refine skills, and share ideas in an inclusive and supportive environment. Whether rookie teams or seasoned competitors, all participants are empowered to push boundaries and excel.
This year, the Carolinas Premier Event will be hosted at Salem Academy between July 24th and July 26th, 2026. The registration cost is $1000; teams will receive a payment link with their invitation. Please reach out to premier@carolinabots.org with any questions.

2025 Season
The inaugural Carolinas Premier Event (CPE) was held on July 25th through July 27th, 2025 at Salem Academy in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
